TUWA LOGO
“Striving to be part of the solution.”
Many Native American cultures believe that all matter consists of four universal elements: fire, earth, air, and water. These elements are thought to exist not only as earthly substances, but also more metaphysically as spiritual essences. Fire is the most volatile of the elements; it's known for its fury and exists as the enabler of transformation and life. Earth represents structure and stability, and serves as the foundation and support for all living things. Air is a spiritual element; it corresponds to information and knowledge, and has the ability to unite body and mind. Water is associated with relationships and social interactions; it depicts flux and permits the growth and development of love.
